Alpha Beta School: A Legacy of Excellence and Leadership
Alpha Beta School, one of the most prestigious private institutions in Ghana, has consistently set the standard for academic excellence and leadership. Founded in 1986 by Rev. Samuel and Florence Adjepong, the school began humbly with just six children under the carport of their home in Dansoman, Accra. Today, it boasts over 800 students and staff, offering an enriched British curriculum with a focus on entrepreneurial leadership, starting from the Primary level.
The school’s early success led to the establishment of the Kindergarten in 1991, followed by Alpha Beta Primary and Junior Secondary School in 1992. The school’s main building, a prominent landmark on Dansoman High Street, reflects its growth and commitment to high-quality education. Alpha Beta continues to expand both its physical infrastructure and its academic offerings.
Alpha Beta Education Centres is a co-educational international school catering to children aged 18 months to 18 years. The school operates a diverse academic program, including Montessori Preschool, Pearson International Primary (Iprimary), and Cambridge Secondary. The curriculum is designed to expose students to a rich, varied learning environment that broadens their outlook and instills strong Christian values. The focus on entrepreneurial leadership equips students with the skills necessary to become global agents of change.
